Alright, well first and foremost I must compliment the description you gave of the spider's web among the thorns. Its a pretty scary image all on its own, but the way you described it as a mouth with fangs and all is truly frighting!
As terrible as it was to see the boy have to die that way, I couldn't help but feel the full effect of his victory in that moment. A true martyr's death, indeed.
